Chinese cargo operator China Postal Airlines is sending a request for proposals (RFP) for it to buy a Boeing 737-800 passenger aircraft.
The bid price should not exceed RMB133 million ($19 million).
Delivery is expected to take place before 30 September 2024.
China Postal will use its own funds for the acquisition, the cargo operator noted.
The 737-800 must have been first delivered between 2004 and 2011 and have had no more than three operators.
Consortium bids and subcontracting are not acceptable for the RFP, China Postal added.
The deadline for submission of bid documents is 22 April 2024.
