The Westjet Group is in the process of evaluating re-financing alternatives for up to eight directly owned Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
The Group has issued a sale and leaseback request proposals for up to eight 737-800s that are 2014 and 2015-vintage units.
Proceeds from the sale leaseback transactions will be used to repay existing Westjet Group financing and for general funding purposes.
Proposals will be reviewed by 22 March.
The Group intends to sign letter of intent next month with a view to finalise documentation by the end of May.
