Germany’s Dr Peters Group has closed the financing of another Airbus A380 for Air France.
The aircraft, MSN 117, equipped by GP 7270 engines was delivered on 26th June.
The company arranged a KG financing structure similar to the previous aircraft that was delivered to the French carrier over the past four years.
The 10-year operating lease to Air France has multiple extensions options that could stretch to 17 years. The first extension option is three years and is followed by two extensions of two years.
The transaction was arranged by Dr Peters while Numera and EastMerchant acted as advisers. Nord LB is the facility agent.
The total financing is $135 million but is Euro dominated. It consists of a $105 million A-tranche with three lenders: Development Bank of Singapore (DBS Bank), Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) and NordLB.
There are two participants, Crédit Industriel et Commercial (CIC) and NordLB, in the B-tranche, which amounts to $30 million.
