Qatar Airways has agreed to sell a total of eight new Airbus A320s to Pembroke, Standard Chartered Bank’s leasing arm, under a sale and leaseback transaction. The first batch of four units completed in late April, MSNs 6347, 6467, 6494 and 6529, operated by Al Maha Airways on Qatar Airways’ network.
The CFM International CFM56-5B4/3-powered A320s were acquired by Pembroke from Doha-based carrier’s leasing arm, Qatar Aviation Leasing (QALC).
The rest of the MSNs are 6622, 6646, 6717, 6811
