Etihad Airwas has agreed a finance lease deal for one A380 supported by Korean institutional investors. Magi Partners and Youjee Partners arranged the transaction for Abu Dhabi-based airlines. The deal provides 100% financing for the aircraft through a 15 year fixed coupon full payout finance lease. The deal is the first ever Korean backed pre-funded financing for an A380. It is also the first time an A380 financing has been sourced solely with Korean funds with no other commercial debt involved.
