US-based CarVal Investors LLC took an 80% shareholding in AerFin in December 2014. CarVal Investors, LLC is an investment arm of Cargill, Incorporated specializing in direct and fund of fund investments.
Bob James, the founder of AerFin will remain as the Managing Director and CEO going forward and will retain 20% of the company
