Royal Air Maroc (RAM) has closed a commercial financing for one Boeing 787-8. The aircraft is financed by a Moroccan bank, which provided a Euro-denominated loan.
It was reported in September 2016 that the North African airline issued an request for proposal to fund 787-8s with United States Export-Import (Ex-Im) guarantee. However, Ex-Im bank is only able to guarantee financing of up to $10 million for aircraft because it only has two of five seats filled on its board.
