Skyco Leasing has acquired a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft from Novus Aviation Capital.
The lease is attached to Middle Eastern carrier Emirates.
Skyco used an off-shore trust structure to acquire the aircraft, MSN 41074.
The company’s Cayman platform is the equity lender of the trust. The senior loan is being provided by a Japanese lessor and the junior loan from a Middle Eastern bank.
Skyco now has three aircraft in its portfolio. The other two aircraft are two Boeing 737-800s (MSNs 39202 and 39203) purchased from Hong Kong Aviation Capital, with leases attached to Hainan Airlines.
