Lease-in / lease-out structure, whereby Amedeo Air Four Plus Limited , head-lessor & owner of the aircraft, leases the aircraft for 12 years to HSBC Middle East Leasing Partnership, which, as sub-lessor, leases the aircraft to Emirates. Financing is provided by HSBC Leasing Middle East partnership to AA4P Epsilon in the form of prepaid rentals under the head-lease. All operating lease risks under the transaction are held by the head-lessor, while the sub-lessor, acting effectively as financier, is mainly taking Emirates credit risk.
