AWAS has delivered one new 787-8 to Ethiopian Airlines. As part of a fleet upgrade solution AWAS has agreed to purchase three new 787-8 passenger aircraft from the airline (ID 6057) that Ethiopian had previously ordered directly from the manufacturer, and then lease them back to the airline. The transaction was jointly arranged by CA-CIB and DVB Bank, who also acted as lenders. CA-CIB is the Agent, DVB Bank is the Security Trustee.
