China Eastern has issued $173.33m secured notes, guaranteed by the Export-Import Bank of the United States (Ex-Im).

The notes mature in 2026. The proceeds from the offering were used to refinance one new 777-300ER (MSN 43273) and one new 737-800 (MSN 41510). The aircraft originally delivered in May and June 2015.

HSBC acted as the sole book runner and structuring agent on the transaction.
