In October 2016 Air New Zealand issued six-year unsecured, unsubordinated fixed rate bonds for NZ$ 50 million.
The interest rate for the Bonds is 4.25% per annum. The Bonds were issued on 28 October 2016 and will mature on 28 October 2022. The Bonds are quoted on the NZX Debt Market under the ticker code AIR020.
Purpose of the issuance: General business purposes (including partial repayment of previously issued in 2011 bonds for the amount of NZ$ 150 million (AIR010 Bonds).
Issue price: NZ$1.00 per Bond (being the Principal Amount of each Bond).
Interest payment: Interest will be payable semi-annually in arrear in equal amounts on each Interest Payment Date.
