Flynas | RFP | 04-17 | 19xA320neo

Saudi carrier Flynas issued a request for proposals (RFP) on 17 April to fund 19 new Airbus A320neo aircraft. The deliveries are scheduled to take place between 2018 to 2026.

Update: Saudi carrier Flynas has postponed its request for proposals for 12-year leases for 19 new Airbus A320neo aircraft, according to lessor sources.

The airline told financiers the RFP has been put on hold due to troubles in the region, lessors indicate.

Flynas is looking to acquire nine aircraft under sale and leaseback transactions and ten units through direct operating lease agreements.

The airline is also seeking pre-delivery payment financing for the units.

It intended to sign letters of intent by 20 June. The deadline for submissions for financing request was 15 May.
