In September 2016, TAM S.A. structured a financing amounting to US$ 200 million with the guarantee of approximately 18% ownership of the shares of Multiplus S.A., percentage subject to adjustment depending on the value of the stock as collateral. As of December 31, 2016, the Multiplus Shares Backed Loan outstanding amount was US$ 200 million. Citibank was sole arranger in the transaction.
