KTB Investment & Securities and Mplus Asset Management have recently closed a 91.5 billion won ($82 million) fund to acquire an Airbus A330-300 for lease to Singapore Airlines, according to local media reports. The fund consists of senior, mezzanine and subordinated tranches and will expire in around four years.
Three to four domestic insurance companies were among the institutional investors. The fund purchased the aircraft from a Chinese leasing company with the lease attached to Singapore Airlines.
