Nepal Airlines is in the market to sell a Boeing 757-200 powered by Rolls Royce RB211-535E4 engines that is approaching 30 years of age. The Kathmandu-based carrier extended the deadline on 29 May to 12 June for request for proposals for the unit, MSN 23850.
The minimum auction price was set up at $1.71 million, according to the tender.
Officials from the flag carrier approached the market in April with a deadline set for on 24 May. Nepal Airways extended the deadline after failing to receive a single bid, according to local media.The aircraft has clocked 30,180 cycles and 86,410 hours since delivery.
