Aeroflot’s board has approved the expansion of the carrier’s Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ100) fleet via the lease of four new aircraft.
Russian lessor VEB Leasing or its affiliates will lease the four aircraft for 12 years, according to a filing, and the aircraft will transfer to Aeroflot between July and September this year.
Aeroflot’s SSJ100 fleet now includes 30 aircraft. All units are under leases from VEB Leasing or Sberbank Leasing.
