Argentina’s start-up carrier Flybondi has signed a lease agreement Stellar Aircraft Leasing, the joint venture between Deucalion Aviation Funds and Magnetar Capital, for one Boeing 737-800 aircraft, sources indicate.
The 2001-vintage aircraft is currently operated by SunExpress. The aircraft is managed by DVB Bank SE.
The aircraft, MSN 28071, is expected to be delivered by year-end, confirms DVB.
Flybondi is planning to sign aircraft lease agreements with different lessors through July, after firming up its first lease last month.
