Dutch low-cost carrier Transavia has taken delivery of one Boeing 737-800 on short-term lease from Flydubai.
A Flydubai spokesperson has confirmed to Airfinance Journal that the aircraft (MSN 40237) is on lease to Transavia for five months.
“Flydubai has done short-term aircraft leases in the past to manage interim capacity adjustments driven by seasonality,” says Mukesh Sodani, Flydubai’s chief financial officer.
